View all articles →What Is a Deep Agent?
What a deep agent is: an agent for long, multi-step tasks built on four pillars — planning, a virtual filesystem, subagents and a detailed system prompt.
Planning: the write_todos Pattern
How a deep agent stays on track: the write_todos planning pattern keeps a todo list in the model's attention across long tasks — explained with code.
The Virtual Filesystem
How a deep agent offloads big results and notes to a virtual filesystem so long tasks don't overflow the prompt — and cost less. Explained with examples.
Subagents & Context Isolation
A deep agent delegates focused subtasks to specialist subagents, each with its own isolated context. Learn why that improves reliability — with the exact code.

What is ToolsHub?
ToolsHub is a free collection of over 172 online tools for everyday tasks — working with PDFs, writing and cleaning up text, building a resume, generating QR codes and barcodes, formatting and converting data for developers, checking DNS, SSL and email records, and running the finance and student calculations people look up all the time. Instead of installing separate apps or juggling a dozen different websites, you get a single, fast, ad-supported hub where each tool does one job well.
The guiding idea is privacy by default. The large majority of these tools run entirely inside your web browser using modern web technology, which means the files you drop in and the text you paste are processed on your own device and never uploaded to us. There is no account to create, no watermark added to your output, and no limit on how many times you can use a tool.
Where the work happens
Each tool is clearly badged so you always know where your data goes. A 🔒 in your browser badge means it runs locally and nothing is uploaded, while a server badge marks the few tools — such as DNS, WHOIS and SSL lookups — that must reach the internet to answer, and therefore send the address you enter to our backend. Whichever you use, there is no account to create and no watermark added to anything you produce.
Put these tools on your own site
Embed any calculator or utility with one line of HTML — free, no signup, runs in your visitor's browser. Perfect for a blog post that needs a working EMI, CGPA or PDF tool.
Frequently asked questions
- Are the tools on ToolsHub really free?
- Yes. Every tool is free to use with no account, no trial, and no usage limits. There are no watermarks on anything you generate, whether that's a merged PDF, a resume, or a QR code.
- Do I need to sign up or create an account?
- No. There is no login anywhere on ToolsHub. You open a tool and use it — nothing is gated behind a signup form or an email address.
- Are my files and data safe?
- Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your files, text and numbers never leave your device or reach our servers. A small number of tools that need the network — DNS, WHOIS and SSL lookups, for example — are clearly labelled as server-side, and even then we only send what the lookup requires.
- Do the tools work on mobile?
- Yes. Every tool is responsive and works on phones, tablets and laptops in any modern browser, with no app to install.
- How accurate are the calculators?
- The arithmetic is exact and unit-tested. Where a result depends on a rule that varies — a university's CGPA formula, a bank's compounding method, or income tax — we say so and let you set the right value. Treat those results as close estimates and confirm official figures with your institution, bank or employer.
- Can I use the tools for work or commercial projects?
- Yes. You're free to use the tools and anything you create with them for personal, educational or commercial purposes at no cost.
- Why are some tools marked 'in your browser' and others 'server'?
- It's a transparency label. 'In your browser' means the work happens locally and nothing is uploaded. 'Server' means the tool has to reach out to the internet to answer — like resolving a domain's DNS records — so the address you enter is sent to our backend to perform the lookup.
- How often are new tools added?
- Regularly. ToolsHub has grown to over 150 tools across categories like AI & MCP, PDF, developer, finance and student utilities, and we keep adding based on what people search for and ask for.
