Accurate, and honest about it
The formulas here are universal and don't hardcode any figure that changes with the annual budget — so an EMI, SIP or FD result stays correct year to year. Where a convention applies, it's stated plainly: FDs and RDs compound quarterly (the Indian bank standard), and the salary tool leaves income tax for you to enter because slabs and the old-versus-new regime change yearly. Deposit and salary results are close estimates — confirm exact figures with your bank or employer.
Frequently asked questions
Are these finance tools free?
Yes, every calculator is free with no signup and no limits, and they all work on mobile.
How is loan EMI calculated?
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)^n ÷ ((1 + r)^n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r the monthly rate and n the tenure in months. The EMI Calculator applies this and shows the total interest.
Do FD and RD calculators use quarterly compounding?
Yes — Indian banks generally compound FD and RD interest quarterly, so both tools use that by default. Your bank's exact payout can differ slightly.
Why doesn't the salary calculator compute income tax?
Tax slabs and the old/new regime choice change every year and depend on your declarations, so the CTC to In-Hand tool lets you enter your tax from your payslip to stay accurate rather than guessing.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser, so your loan, investment and salary figures never leave your device.
