About the BIMI Checker
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) displays your brand logo beside your messages in supporting inboxes. This free BIMI checker looks up a domain's BIMI record, previews the logo, and confirms whether the DMARC policy BIMI requires is actually in place.
BIMI is the reward for getting authentication right — it only works once DMARC is enforcing.
BIMI requirements
- DMARC published at p=quarantine or p=reject — p=none is not enough.
- A logo in SVG Tiny PS format, served over HTTPS.
- For Gmail and Apple Mail, a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) is also required.

What is BIMI?
A standard that lets your brand logo appear next to your emails in supporting inboxes, as a visual signal the message is authenticated.
Why isn't my BIMI logo showing?
The usual reasons are DMARC still at p=none, a logo that isn't SVG Tiny PS, or a missing Verified Mark Certificate — Gmail requires a VMC.
Do I need a VMC?
For Gmail and Apple Mail, yes. A VMC is a paid certificate proving you own the trademark on the logo. Some other providers display BIMI without one.
Is BIMI required?
No, it's entirely optional and purely a branding benefit. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are the ones that affect whether your mail is delivered.
